  Newmarket Holidays rolls out new solo tours for Christmas - News & announcements

  Newmarket Holidays has launched four new tours for Christmas 2025, including three that are exclusively for solo travelers. To mark the launch the operator has introduced a 10% saving on all festive tours that are booked before 31 March. The new group holidays for solos include Christmas in The Beatles’ Liverpool & Manchester, a 6-day getaway that is based at a countryside spa hotel and includes a guided tour of Liverpool and the city's famous Beatles attractions. It includes Christmas Eve in Chester followed by a carol service, a Champagne breakfast, lunch and dinner on Christmas Day, and a Boxing Day tour of Manchester. Prices start from £1,440 (including the 10% saving) with half board accommodation, tours and transfers included. For solo travellers with a love of history, Christmas in Cambridge and Warwick is a group tour that visits Bletchley Park, home of the World War II codebreakers. It includes a walking tour of historic Cambridge, and a visit to Warwick Castle to follow an atmospheric evening light trail through the grounds and ramparts. The six-day holiday includes five breakfasts and dinners, a Champagne brunch, lunch and dinner on Christmas day, tours and transfers, with prices from £1,692 per person, including the 10% saving. Another new launch for solo travellers is Christmas in the Slovenian Alps, featuring a stay in the alpine resort of Kranjska Gora. Guests take in the festive finery of Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana, shop for bargains at the Christmas markets of Bled, and have the option of venturing through the Postojna Caves and visiting the spectacular Predjama Castle. Prices start from £1,949 with the discount and include half board accommodation, return flights from Gatwick, tours and excursions.   Newmarket Holidays has expanded its tour and cruising collection with a brand-new group holiday exploring Alaska and the Californian coast. It is the first operator to combine these two destinations. The escorted tours specialist has also revamped its popular Deep South Rhythms, Key West & Bahamas Cruise itinerary, adding extra nights and new stops. Alaska Cruise & America’s Great West is a 17-day land and sea journey along America's west coast, starting with five-days visiting Santa Monica, Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard, Santa Barbara and San Francisco, with a variety of guided tours and free time to explore each destination. Guests then board the MS Carnival Luminosa to cruise through the North Pacific, enjoying two days of on-board relaxation before stopping at the Alaskan capital of Juneau. Guests will then visit the Gold Rush town of Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska's first city of Ketchikan, and a final stop at Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Prices start from £3,510 per person (saving £389 until 13 March), including five nights’ room-only hotel accommodation, 10 nights’ full-board accommodation on the MS Carnival Luminosa, excursions, tours, transfers, internal flights and return flights to Heathrow Departures are in August and September 2026. Newmarket Holidays has expanded the 2027 version of its Deep South Rhythms, Key West & Bahamas Cruise itinerary by adding two extra days in Nashville, the heartland of country music. On the 17-day tour, explore the American South before boarding Carnival Liberty for a seven-night voyage across the Gulf of Mexico, stopping at Key West and continuing into the Northern Caribbean for Nassau and then Grand Bahama. It includes a stop at Celebration Key, Carnival’s new private destination opening this year.   Newmarket Holidays has reported 30% growth in sales of long-haul escorted tours since launching the 'Live Your Travel Story' peaks campaign on 26 December.  Growth is being driven by sales to India, with four tours to the country in the top 10 most popular long-haul itineraries of the year so far. Japan - which Newmarket Holidays reintroduced as a destination in 2023 - is the operator's most popular long-haul tour, with Japan Unveiled topping the list. Another new destination, Uzbekistan, is sixth on the list, with Costa Rica's wildlife, volcanoes and national parks in third place. Other popular trips include a South African safari, and two North American tours, visiting Canada and Alaska.   Newmarket Holidays has expanded its India tour collection. A new 21-day tour now combines two of the operator’s most popular holidays across the north and south of the subcontinent. It creates a single itinerary that connects the iconic landmarks of northern India with Kerala in the south for the first time. Highlights of India – From the Golden Triangle to Kerala starts with a rickshaw ride around Delhi, journeys by rail and road to Shimla in the foothills of the Himalayas, and explores the pink city of Jaipur and its famous Amber Fort. The India tour also takes guests on safari to see tigers at Ranthambore National Park, and visits the iconic Taj Mahal and city of Agra. It aims to inspire viewers to 'Live Your Travel Story' and book with a local travel agent. The new 30-second ad showcases Newmarket Holidays' worldwide guided trips with inspiring footage of Croatia, Italy, Spain, India, Brazil and Japan. It marks its biggest ever TV campaign, airing for two months from now on channels including ITV, Channel 4 and the Sky network. The advert will also promote savings of up to 15% that are available on Newmarket Holidays’ collection of escorted tours until 13 March 2025, covering departures through to 2027. These discounted holidays include short breaks in the UK and Ireland, active breaks across Europe, African safaris, and long-haul trips including India, the Far East, the US and South America.   Newmarket Holidays has extended its Premier Collection with a new escorted tour visiting the ancient highlights of Istanbul and Cappadocia in central Turkiye. Istanbul & Cappadocia – Turkey’s Historic Gems is an eight-day small-group tour that explores the impact of the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires. The itinerary includes guided walking tours of Istanbul visiting the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia; Topkapi Palace, and the 6^th century Basilica Cistern.   Escorted holidays specialist Newmarket Holidays is growing its Asia tour portfolio with its first tours to Indonesia and Korea. It is also adding a new Japan open. Bali and Beyond is a 16-day group holiday that explores Ubud’s temples and the beaches of Sanur in Bali. It also visits Java's cities, including Surabaya and Malang, as well as the iconic volcanic landscape of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. This includes sunset and sunrise jeep tours to Mount Bromo, a night in Yogyakarta and a visit to the Borobudur Temple. Price from £3240 per person, saving £359, including return flights, transfers 14 excursions and 19 meals, with departures starting in October 2025. A longer option is Bali and Beyond with Komodo Extension, which adds five days to explore Komodo National Park with an island-hopping adventure. Price from £4,879 per person, saving £256, with 17 excursions and 28 meals included. South Korea & Japan Discovered is an 18-day journey through East Asia.
