Now streaming on Spotify, the album reimagines some of Brits’ favourite feel-good hits with a sun-soaked, laid-back twist. From Taylor Swift and Harry Styles to Pharrell Williams, The Beatles, and Madonna, each track has been given a fresh reggae-infused makeover, capturing the essence of carefree days at sea. Whether relaxing at home or dreaming of an escape to tropical shores on an MSC Cruises cruise, the album sets the perfect soundtrack for holiday mode. For those seeking a reprieve from winter, MSC Cruises offers a number of itineraries to some of the most iconic destinations in the Caribbean, taking guests to some of the most breathtaking destinations from just £635 per person* for seven nights. New research from MSC Cruises reveals that music influences travel choices, with 76% of Brits saying tunes have inspired their holiday destinations. The Caribbean takes the top spot, driven by a nationwide love for reggae. The study also found that over a quarter (28%) of Brits always listen to music before heading on holiday, with pop (55%), holiday anthems (33%), and chill-out tunes (22%) battling it out for the number 1 spot on Brits' playlists. Topping the list of Brits’ happiest holiday songs is Katrina and The Waves’ 1983 Eurovision-winning hit Walking on Sunshine, followed by Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles (24%) and Pharrell Williams’ Happy (23%). The album also includes reggae-infused versions of Shake It Off by Taylor Swift (15%)—a Gen Z and Millennial favourite—alongside Watermelon Sugar by Harry Styles (8%), Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish (5%), and timeless classics like Summer in the City by Lovin’ Spoonful (6%), La Bamba by Ritchie Valens (6%), and Uptown Girl by Billy Joel (12%). Certain songs have the power to transport Brits straight into summer mode, with 40% saying music instantly gets them in the holiday spirit. More than 63% find that music lifts their spirits, and over half (53%) tune into sounds from their destination before they even start packing. In fact, 75% say music brings a place to life before they arrive, while 84% see it as a powerful way to connect with other cultures. MSC Cruises —the world's third-largest cruise line—announced today that Drew Barrymore will be the Godmother of its new U.S. flagship, MSC World America. Barrymore will be cutting the ribbon and triggering the traditional breaking of a bottle of champagne on the ship's bow alongside Orlando Bloom, who co-stars with her in the company’s “Lets Holiday” campaign that debuted during the Big Game. MSC World America’s Naming Ceremony will be held on the evening of Wednesday, April 9, at the new MSC Miami Cruise Terminal, which will be the largest in the world. MSC Cruises’ third LNG-powered ship enters final phase of preparation for inaugural season in Caribbean

Ship to homeport at MSC Cruises’ new Port Miami terminal – the world’s largest

MSC Cruises’ latest flagship, MSC World America has successfully completed her deep-water intensive systems tests during a final sea trial in the Atlantic Ocean. MSC World America will become MSC Cruises’ 23rd ship and represents an evolution for the cruise line’s successful World Class platform with re-imagined venues and concepts tailored specifically to the U.S. market, combining European style with American comfort. The new ship will also be the first in the fleet to feature seven onboard districts that bring together a range of tailored experiences. Combining bars, restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities, each district will meet the needs, moods and desires of different types of traveller. The sea trials checked the performance of the ship’s engines, maneuverability, fuel consumption, safety systems, speed and stopping distances. The ship will now receive her final finishing touches at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France before being officially delivered to the cruise line on 27 March. MSC World America will then be officially named on 9 April at the new MSC Cruise Terminal in PortMiami, the largest cruise terminal in the world. The ship’s maiden voyage will be a celebratory sailing to the company’s private island Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas ahead of the vessel’s deployment in the Caribbean Sea. The 22-deck Gross Tonnage 216,638 vessel measures 333.3metres in length and is 47 metres wide, with a capacity for 6,762 passengers and 2,138 crew, features 2,614 cabins and offers more than 38,400m² of public space. MSC World America will have 18 bars and lounges and 19 dining venues, including four main restaurants, two buffets, two venues in the MSC Yacht Club exclusively for its guests, plus six separate speciality restaurants. Guests can expect new dining concepts including Greek restaurant Paxos and the only Eataly restaurant at sea, along with new complimentary fast casual options to cater to every taste and temptation. The new flagship will also debut two brand-new lounge concepts – All-Stars Sports Bar, offering an authentic game-day atmosphere with all-American fare and bar games, and The Loft, a multi-purpose venue for comedy, karaoke and more. The ship’s inaugural season from Miami starts on 12 April. She will sail alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries with stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; Isla de Roatan, Honduras; and Ocean Cay. MSC World America’s use of LNG enables a direct transition towards drop-in bio and synthetic renewable LNG fuels. The ship is fitted with shore power connectivity, which allows the ship’s engines to be switched off while in port, eliminating local emissions and improving local air quality and the new MSC Cruise Terminal is equipped with shore power capability. The ship also has an advanced wastewater treatment plant and a comprehensive on-board recycling management plant to minimise waste. MSC Cruises’ current orderbook includes MSC World Asia to be delivered in 2026 and a yet unnamed fourth World Class vessel in 2027.

MSC Cruises, the world's third-largest cruise line, announced today that Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom will be starring in the brand’s first-ever Big Game commercial. The 60-second ad will highlight MSC Cruises’ signature blend of European style and American comfort while showcasing its upcoming flagship, MSC World America. Barrymore and Bloom are joining forces with MSC Cruises to launch the family-owned company’s first national advertising campaign as part of its ongoing North American expansion. Viewers will see the two acclaimed actors taking a vacation aboard MSC World America. “I am so proud to work with MSC Cruises, which is a company that makes it possible for people and families to get to see the world,” shared Drew Barrymore, actress and host of The Drew Barrymore Show. “They take care of all the planning and make it beautiful and joyful! NEW Hall of Fame – Experience the ultimate live pop concert featuring the iconic music and unforgettable moments of pop legends. This event is produced by ONLYCHILD, a multidisciplinary creative studio renowned for its work and collaborations in music, fashion, live theatre, and film. Their impressive credits include A-list music stars like Kylie Minogue, as well as partnerships with major brands such as MTV, Netflix, Vogue, and Missoni.

Panorama Lounge – The Panorama Lounge at the back of the ship features two incredible live theatrical music concerts that can be enjoyed on various nights of the week, along with wellness programming during the day. MSC Cruises unveiled plans today to offer more cruises from Port Canaveral, giving guests additional vacation options when sailing from the popular Florida port. The line’s fourth World Class ship will join the lineup at Port Canaveral for the Winter 2027-2028 season, offering year-round 7-night Caribbean itineraries. The ship, which has yet to be named, will join MSC World America as the company’s second World Class ship operating in North America. In the meantime, MSC Grandiosa will begin offering year-round 7-night Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral starting with the Winter 2026-2027 season, building upon previously announced plans to deploy the ship at Port Canaveral for an inaugural season during Winter 2025-2026. MSC Seashore will continue to offer year-round 3- and 4-night cruises to The Bahamas and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. MSC Cruises is gearing up to be the title sponsor of three Formula 1® World Championship Grands Prix in 2025, further building on the cruise line’s partnership with the prestigious motorsport. MSC Cruises opens 2027 World Cruise - News & announcements

MSC Cruises has opened sales for its 2027 World Cruise aboard MSC Musica. The new 121-night route will visit 45 destinations in 25 countries, with seven overnight stays. It spans over 37,000 nautical miles across five continents. The sailing will cross the Equator twice, offering travellers the unique experience of ‘losing’ and ‘reliving’ a day. Embarkation is possible from one of four European ports – Civitavecchia, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona from 5, 6, 7 and 8 January 2027 respectively. Guests will explore west to South America, including its southernmost point in Ushuaia (Argentina), sail the South Pacific and experience Australasia. The voyage continues to Hawaii and the U.S. West Coast before returning to Europe via a scenic transit of the Panama Canal before island hopping in the Caribbean. The itinerary includes full-day stays at every port and overnight stays in Buenos Aires, Sydney, and Papeete. As part of their cruise fare, guests booking will also benefit from 15 shore excursions included in the price, complimentary Dine & Drink beverage package including house wines and draught beer and 30% discount on laundry services. Classic level MSC Voyager Club members and above will benefit from a 5% discount on the booking price. The points gained from the World Cruise will be tripled and added to their account before the start of the voyage. Guests can still book the last remaining cabins for the 2026 World Cruise departure.
