TV campaign puts Solmar in the limelight

Villa holiday specialist Solmar has launched its biggest ever TV advertising campaign.
Solmar Villas, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024, has invested £1million in an exclusive partnership with Channel 4 as it looks to grow the business further.
The campaign will launch on Boxing Day with ads set to be featured at peak viewing times during some of the channel’s most popular shows such as Gogglebox, The Great Pottery Throwdown and The Last Leg.
Sharon Bradbury, Solmar’s sales and marketing director, said: “This is a huge investment by Solmar and by far the biggest TV campaign we have ever run.”
“It forms part of a wider strategy and investment to establish Solmar as a household name in 2024.
“The whole team is excited to see Solmar featured on national television and we’ve secured some terrific spots at prime viewing times.”
“January is always our busiest month of the year with people planning their getaways.”
The company recently acquired more than 450 villas as a result of the closure of the James Villas brand.
It is set to start the 2024 holiday season with more than 2,000 properties in its European and US portfolio.
Villas on the Ionian coast, Kos, Ibiza and the Peloponnese have all been added as new destinations this year.
To celebrate its 30th year, Solmar has launched an exclusive offer for travel agents to win a Solmar Villa Voucher worth up to £750 in a special prize draw.
The offer is applicable for bookings made between January 1 and January 29 by a registered travel agent.
