Seabourn scraps 2025 Red Sea transit

Luxury line Seabourn is not waiting for normality to return to the Red Sea region.

The cruise line has scrapped a Red Sea transit planned for spring 2025 aboard Seabourn Encore.

This change will result in the Carnival Corp cruise brand sailing to the US for the first time ever.

The original 2025 itinerary westbound from Asia to Europe has now been shelved.

Instead it will head eastbound from Singapore with its first Panama transit and US port calls.

The new voyage will make 36 port calls in 18 countries.

It will call on the US west coast, Hawaii, and Miami.

There will be extended calls in Tokyo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cartagena.

The cruise segments will range from 7- 25 days and can be combined for a sailing of up to 53 days.

They include the 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan, from Singapore to Kobe, Japan, a 19-day Panama Canal cruise from Long Beach to Miami and a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands transpacific crossing.

The new itineraries are now open for booking.
