NCL hails new ship milestones

Norwegian Cruise Line marked a double milestone in the past week, firstly taking delivery of newly completed ship Norwegian Aqua at Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera.
Newer ship Norwegian Luna also floated out.
The float out marks the end of external work and now undergoes interior furnishing.
The ship launches in 2026.
“We are deeply grateful to Fincantieri for its partnership and expertise in bringing the Norwegian Aqua to life, paving the way for NCL’s continued growth and success,” David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line said.
Aqua will sail the Caribbean and the Bahamas following its transatlantic crossing.
“The Norwegian Aqua is a testament to the solid and enduring partnership between Norwegian Cruise Line and Fincantieri, recently reaffirmed by the historic order of the four largest ships ever built by our Group for the brand,” said Luigi Matarazzo, GM, merchant ships division of Fincantieri.
