Japan tourism arrivals double

Japan tourism arrivals almost doubled in November.
Over 934,000 people arrived last month compared to 498,600 in October.
Japan fully restored visa-free entry on October 11.
South Korea, Taiwan and the US are the top inbound markets, the Japan National Tourism Organization said.
More than 300,000 were from South Korea, which is by far the biggest market.
ANA and Japan Airlines say bookings are up 4-5 times for the Christmas and New Year period.
However surging tourism arrivals are impacting hotel operations.
The Japan Hotel Association cites a ‘serious labour shortage.’
