The last four months have record volumes at the airport volumes, with most international flights tourism returning, which is highly welcomed by a community where 30-35% of all employment is tied to tourism.
The rebranding as ‘The Greatest Arena on Earth’, goes along for a city with 150,000 hotel rooms, where a new Madison Square Garden Arena is opening; a new 700-room Fountainblue Hotel adjacent to Resort World; F1 races slated for November 2023 as a night race; NFL Super Bowl in 2024.
From a sustainability standpoint, most major hotels have switched to solar power, waste are are sorted and recycled, and water conservation initiatives have been going on for years.
