Delta Air Lines inks Travelport distribution agreement

Delta Air Lines and Travelport signed a new global distribution agreement.

It gives Travelport-connected travel buyers streamlined access to Delta’s fare content through the Travelport+ platform.

It offers enhanced retailing capability to better compare and customize offers for customers.

It gives customers easier access to all Delta products, whether they are a corporate traveler shopping within travel policy or a leisure traveler comparing itineraries for a vacation, said Jeff Lobl, managing director of global distribution for Delta Air Lines.

“Our transformative new agreement with Travelport is another big step in elevating retailing in the indirect channel ecosystem,” he said.

The Travelport+ platform hosts fare products and additional content from all of Travelport’s global air partners.

“We look forward to continually delivering the tools that Delta and all of our travel partners need,” said Jason Clarke, Chief Commercial Officer, Travel Partners at Travelport.
