Cockpit tarantula causes flight delays

A stowaway arachnid caused hours of delays for some Iberia passengers after a pilot was bitten by a suspected tarantula in the cockpit.
An Iberia pilot was bitten mid-flight as the Iberia Airbus A320 was travelling between Dusseldorf and Madrid.
The critter was thought to have got on the plane earlier in the week when the plane had a stopover in Casablanca.
The plane landed safely in Madrid.
The plane then was fumigated in Madrid, causing delays.
The following flight to Vigo was delayed by three hours.
Iberia Airlines said the pilot was treated in Madrid and was able to continue working.
