Club Med ‘delighted’ as restrictions eased in France
Club Med applauded the further easing of Covid restrictions in France, which it hopes will spark a flurry of last-minute bookings.
From March 14 requirements to show a Covid-19 vaccine passport to access venues will be scrapped.
Face masks will also no longer be needed indoors, except on public transport.
“We’re delighted at the recent announcement that France is suspending the health pass, meaning that unvaccinated children and teens will no longer need to test daily. We know that this has been a huge roadblock for many families this winter ski season and a number of them will be eager to make last-minute bookings,” said Estelle Giraudeau, Managing Director, UK & Northern Europe at Club Med.
“With families being our core audience, we expect a boom in sales throughout March and April, particularly around the Easter break as customers look to take advantage of the relaxed restrictions.”
