Best Western Hotels GB announces interim CEO
Rob Paterson is set to leave Best Western Hotels GB (BWH Hotel Group) and will be replaced by Chairman Tim Rumney Interim CEO.
Paterson joined BWH Hotel Group in 2018.
Rumney will step into the Interim CEO role for at least six months to provide continuity.
He has over 30 years of hospitality experience in hotel groups and the independent sector, owning and operating multiple Best Western hotels, as well as being an independent hospitality consultant.
“It has been a pleasure working alongside Rob since 2018, where his commercial acumen and hospitality expertise has truly benefitted our brand portfolio. At a time where hospitality businesses are still suffering, I am proud to be stepping in as Interim CEO for the brand, to continue the great work Rob and his team have been doing,” Rumney said.
Earlier this year, the membership organisation reported a increase in new hotels joining the brand portfolio, including the addition of World Hotels Distinctive Collection Ten Hill Place in Edinburgh, taking the total to almost 300 members.
