American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) announced a pioneering integration of its hotel marketplace into the new Concur Travel solution via Hotel Connector.

This enables streamlined access to comprehensive hotel content in business travel.

Alongside their negotiated hotel programs, joint customers can choose to add extra content with more than two million properties in 180 countries and a wide range of rates, including Amex GBT preferred partner rates and offers from Expedia and Booking.com.

Simon Fishman, VP, Global Business Partnerships, said: “We believe this is the crucial next step to get the very best of the Amex GBT marketplace.

“By providing access to more than two million properties around the world, we can now bring these benefits to our SAP Concur customers.”

Further benefits for Amex GBT customers on the new Concur Travel solution include AI powered management and optimisation of travel programs, delivering personalised hotel recommendations.

It also offers a streamlined booking and checkout process with an intuitive interface.

Charlie Sultan, President, Concur Travel, said: “Customers will receive greater choice, along with personalised, relevant hotel content. Our partnership has been key to making a positive impact on business travel hotel bookings.”
